Sales Estimator

Higgins Overhead Door is seeking an outside sales/estimator to join our team.

The estimator is often the first impression of Higgins Overhead Door for both contractors and customers. You will meet with customers both in our office or in the field at their home or business to provide field measurements and consultation.

Your primary responsibilities include:

· Sales of overhead doors and operators in residential, commercial, and industrial

· Answering sales calls, emails, and questions regarding products

· Developing knowledge of current, future, and competitor product offering

· Communicate with customers, contractors, and HOD office staff

· Conduct site measurements and consultations

· Read and understand blueprints, specifications, job manuals, and contracts

· Proactively seek new business opportunities and develop current sales leads into sales

· Accurate measuring and quoting

· Monitor converted leads, track throughout install, and conduct post-work follow-up.

· Coordinate leads through phone calls, email, CRM, and FSM

· Provide solutions based on customer needs and wants

· Learning technical aspects and requirements of overhead doors and operators

· Provide sales reports to management as required

Requirements:

· Minimum 5-years of hands-on, in-the-field experience in carpentry, construction, or related trade fields in a non-sales role

· Minimum 5-years of experience in outside sales in construction or related trade fields

· Ability to read blueprints, specifications, job manuals, and contracts

· Ability to accurately measure using tape measures or laser measuring tools

· Strong attention to detail

· Organized

· Excellent verbal and written communication to customers and internal staff

· Excellent computer skills with experience with sales, FSM, and CRM software systems

· Presentable appearance with good hygiene

· Integrous and respectful in sales

· Highly professional with high standard of quality

· Delivers on deadlines, follow-ups, and goes above and beyond for the customer

· Passion for learning and seeking knowledge of all aspects of overhead doors and operators

Compensation is based on experience and successful sales goals. Pay will be base salary as listed plus commission with sales goals and incentives.

Full time position in person only at our office in Crown Point.

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
