About the Role
Support aircraft certification activities across multiple aerospace projects by coordinating compliance efforts, managing certification documentation, and working with engineering, quality, program teams, and regulatory authorities.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage certification deliverables across multiple projects and product platforms
- Coordinate certification activities with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and program teams
- Support communication with regulatory authorities and designated representatives
- Prepare and maintain certification plans, compliance documentation, test plans, and reports
- Ensure certification activities are completed in accordance with applicable regulations, procedures, and project schedules
- Support PMA, STC, and TC certification programs
- Review technical data, engineering drawings, and certification documentation
- Coordinate conformity inspections and certification package submissions
- Participate in certification meetings with internal and external stakeholders
- Track project milestones and certification progress
- Maintain compliance with FAA regulations and approved certification processes
- Support multiple certification projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in aerospace engineering and/or aerospace certification environments
- Experience applying FAA Federal Aviation Regulations (14 CFR) to aircraft or aerospace products
- Working knowledge of Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA), Supplemental Type Certificates (STC), and/or Type Certificates (TC) preferred
- Strong understanding of certification processes, compliance requirements, and regulatory documentation
- Excellent organizational, technical communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong decision-making, prioritization, and time management abilities
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Proficiency with computer systems and technical documentation tools
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
