JOB DESCRIPTION

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
 
     Greet and assist guests to identify their vehicle needs;
     Follow the Hiester Automotive sales process with each guest;
     Explain and review the features of guest vehicles before and after purchase;
     Complete necessary vehicle sale paperwork with accuracy to be turned over to Finance Manager;
     Research available vehicles and relevant products;
     Listen to customers to determine their needs, then provide options;
     Follow up with prospective customers and return calls, texts & emails;
     Maintain a follow-up system that encourages repeat business and referrals;
     Keeping abreast of new features and available accessories, and translate their benefit to guests;
     Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction;
     Maintain and update notes and information in a customer database;
     Other duties as assigned by management.
 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED
 
     Automotive sales experience is a plus, but not required;
     Positive, eager-to-learn attitude
     High School Diploma;
     A valid and active driver’s license;
     Professional appearance and pleasant and courteous personality;
     Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills;
     Strong computer and phone skills;
     Strong organizational skills;
     Ability to work both individually and in a team environment;
     Must be able to pass background check and drug test.

Sales Consultant
 This is a Commission-based sales position with the most aggressive pay plan in the area.
 
 Duties include finding out the customers wants and needs, helping them select a vehicle, working the deal through the Sales Desk including getting a trade appraisal from the used-car manager, working numbers through the Sales Manager, and presenting numbers to the customer. Also involves communicating to F&I the details of the deal and finally delivering the vehicle to the customer
 
 Previous sales experience is not required but highly beneficial .
