What are the responsibilities and job description for the Egg Picker (Farm) position at HiEmployment?
Egg Picker – Waianae Area
Schedule:
M-F 7:00am-4:00pm, rotating weekends
Payrate: $14/hr.
Job Description:
- Wear an egg carrier with a stack of egg trays
- Walk an assigned row of birds and pick eggs 2 in each hand and place in egg tray
- When the egg tray is full, it is placed above the cages
- When 6 trays are completed, go back, gather those 6 trays and stack on egg trucks
- Work as a team with other egg pickers
- Help with other Farm projects as needed
- Schedule includes weekends
Essential Functions:
- Must be reliable and responsible to get to work on time.
- Must be ok with working on the weekends
- Must be ok with working on a farm with live chickens
- Must be ok with working through the smells of waste from live chickens
