Essential Duties:
- Properly teach and manage classroom of preschool students
- Encourage student participation and foster a positive learning environment
- Maintain safe environment
- Interact and engage with children and students
- Motivate children with positive redirection
Qualifications:
- Experience with children/teens in a formal/informal setting
- High School Diploma for ECE/Preschool
- Adaptable - Reliable - Flexible
- Strong interpersonal skills with a knack for connecting with students
Requirements:
- Transcripts / Diploma

- Clear Screening Processes
- DHS Documents
- Registry Certificate
- Current TB Clearance (within 1 year)
- Previous experience in educational settings is a plus - not required
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Frequently sit, bend, grasp light or fine manipulation, talk and hear
- Frequently stand and/or walk, write by hand
- Stands for periods outside in the sun to monitor children for recess, PE, or play-time
- Occasionally lift, carry, push, pull objects that weigh up to 60 pounds
- Occasionally twist, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, work above the shoulder, sit on the floor
- Comply with safety policies and protocols activated by the school
- Climb up/down stairs and hills
Job Types: Part-time / Temporary
Starting Pay: $20.50 per hour
Job Sites: Island Wide (west Oahu and greater Honolulu area)
