Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our brand new Hideout team at Laxahatchee. The location is new, so we need an outgoing team member that will help Hideout Loxahatxhee to reach its full potential.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere in our establishment. As a Kava-tender, you will be responsible for serving drinks, interacting with guests, and ensuring that all patrons have an enjoyable experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve Kava, Kratom and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service.
- Take orders accurately using a POS system and handle cash register transactions efficiently.
- Assist in managing inventory by restocking supplies as needed and reporting low stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including responsible kratom and kava
- Engage in ongoing learning about new drink recipes, brewing techniques, and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food service or hospitality industry is preferred, particularly in a coffee shop, restaurant or bar setting.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations.
- Knowledge of kava and Kratom and various drink recipes is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to serve kratom in accordance with local laws.
