Overview
Experienced wait staff needed for Waters Edge Restaurant at Hide-A-Way Lake Lodge. Part-time position. Flexible schedule. Must be available lunch/dinner shifts Wednesday - Sunday. Holiday and weekend availability required. Starting at $9.00 per hour plus tips. Email resume to office or drop off resume at HAWL main guard house (located off of Hwy. 11).
Bring polished, attentive service to every shift as an Experienced Wait Staff team member. You’ll guide guests through food choices, coordinate with the restaurant team, and keep service moving smoothly in a fast-paced hospitality setting. Your impact: Thoughtful, accurate service helps guests enjoy their meals and helps the team deliver a welcoming dining experience.
Duties
- Greet and serve guests, answer menu questions, and build positive guest relations through attentive customer service.
- Recommend menu items through informed sales and upselling
- Coordinate food preparation requests, bussing, and table readiness with other servers and kitchen staff.
- Follow food handling, food safety, and sanitation practices; maintain clean, organized service areas.
Qualifications
- Required: Restaurant or food service experience, serving skills, hospitality, guest services, time management, basic math, and cash handling.
- Preferred: Fine dining, nightclub, host/hostess, culinary, kitchen, or broader food industry experience; food preparation knowledge.
Pay: From $9.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 15.0 per week
