Join our team in beautiful Hidden Valley Lake! We are an HOA nestled in affordable, southern Lake Co, CA with over 3,100 homes and 6,000 residents. Enjoy our 102 acre lake, private pool, over a dozen recreation areas, horse stables, and a semi-private 18 hole golf course.
SUMMARY Candidates should have 3 - 5 years senior level experience in an HOA or in Public Works/Construction. They should be skilled with policy analysis and writing, as well as budgeting, and the Davis-Sterling Act. This position will coordinate operational activities of the organization in accordance with policies, goals, and objectives established by the General Manager. Assists the General Manager in the development of organization initiatives that cover operations, personnel, financial performance, services, and growth of the functions and/or business units mentioned above.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to)
- Plans and oversees strategic and operations budgets, programs, projects, and/or services of broad significance to the organization within the designated functional area of focus.
- Establishes and implements short and long-range organizational goals, objectives, strategic plans, policies, and operating procedures consistent with the General Manager’s broad policies and objectives; monitors and evaluates programmatic and operational effectiveness, and affects changes required for improvement.
- May provide strategic advice and recommendations to leadership in the development, implementation, and evaluation of new or modified operating policies, practices, procedures, and controls within the specified functional area of focus.
- May provide professional consultation and leadership to department heads and subordinates as the principle point of expertise on matters relating to the specified functional area of focus.
- Analyzes, designs, documents, and implements internal reporting systems and procedures for the organization, within the specified functional area of operation, as applicable to the specified functional area of focus.
- Designs, coordinates, and implements training programs for personnel within the organization and its components regarding the nature and application of operating policies and procedures.
- Manages and/or provides day-to-day leadership to various technical, professional, and/or administrative personnel engaged in specified project or service activities, as appropriate to the position.
- May represent the organization to governmental agencies, funding agencies, national organizations, and/or the public; may represent the General Manager at various community and/or business meetings, and may serve as a liaison to legal counsel in addressing legal issues, as assigned
- Ensures that all activities and operations are performed in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws governing business operations.
- May serve as senior staff responsible for maintenance and executing Reserve Projects.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
