What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver/Personal Assistant position at Hidden Treasures Adult Foster Care Facility?
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Caregiver to join our dedicated team at a Level 3 Adult Foster Care home. Our home provides high-quality, person-centered care for adults living with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and those requiring end-of-life support. The ideal candidate will demonstrate patience, empathy, and a deep respect for the dignity and comfort of each resident.
Key Responsibilities: Provide daily personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation. Monitor and record changes in residents’ physical, emotional, and cognitive status. Prepare and serve nutritious meals following dietary needs and care plans. Administer medications accurately as delegated or per certification guidelines. Support residents through all stages of dementia and end-of-life care with compassion and respect. Maintain a clean, safe, and homelike environment in compliance with health and safety standards. Engage residents in meaningful activities that support memory, comfort, and quality of life. Communicate effectively with families, medical professionals, and supervisory staff. Participate in ongoing training related to dementia care, hospice, and person-centered care practices.
Qualifications: Experience in adult foster care, assisted living, hospice, or dementia care preferred, but will train. CPR and First Aid certification required. Strong understanding of dementia behaviors and compassionate approaches to redirection. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a small care team.

Schedule & Compensation: Full-time and part-time shifts available (day, evening) Pay based on experience and certifications. Paid training.
