Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties across guest rooms, public areas, and service spaces, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Handle laundry operations efficiently, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and uniforms.
- Maintain sanitation standards by following established protocols for infection control and environmental services.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively, including vacuums, floor buffers, and steam cleaners.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked, organized, and used responsibly to promote a safe working environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assist with special cleaning projects such as carpet care or deep sanitation tasks as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management to uphold a secure environment.
Qualifications
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in hospitality, healthcare, or commercial settings is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety guidelines related to cleaning and sanitation procedures.
- Experience with environmental services or hospital cleaning practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques including stripping, sealing, waxing, and buffing floors.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills.
