HRCU seeks a seasoned and detail-oriented VP of Accounting and Finance to join the senior management team, reporting directly to the CEO. This individual will lead the development and execution of financial strategies that support the credit union’s long-term goals, ensure sound fiscal management, and promote organizational stability. The innovative leader will provide strategic leadership to advance the credit union’s mission and improve the financial lives of members.
Specifically, the VP will oversee all financial and accounting functions, including forecasting, asset-liability management, budgeting, financial reporting, risk oversight, investment operations, financial auditing, and analysis. The VP will ensure accurate financial records and reporting, assist with investment and rate decisions, and serve as a liaison for regulatory authorities and auditors. This position also involves working closely with other department leaders to support organizational objectives, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes teamwork and effective communication.
At least 8 years of financial leadership experience, ideally within a credit union or financial services sector, is required. A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
