Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Engineer role located in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and reviewing electrical systems and drawings for building, industrial, or infrastructure projects. Day-to-day tasks include developing electrical schematics, selecting components, and creating layouts for power distribution, lighting, and control systems in accordance with codes and standards. Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering, including applied Electricity principles and circuit theory.
- Proficiency in Electrical Design, including schematics, layouts, and equipment selection using industry-standard CAD or BIM tools.
- Experience with Power Distribution systems, including panel schedules, feeder sizing, and protection coordination.
- Knowledge of Power Systems, including load flow, fault analysis, grounding, and adherence to relevant codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE).
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field; EIT/FE or PE licensure (or progress toward it) is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents with strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
- Experience in building, industrial, or infrastructure projects and familiarity with project management or construction processes is a plus.
