The Manager, HR leads all human resources functions for the Hyosung HICO Breaker Assembly facility, ensuring compliance, workforce planning, and a positive employee experience. This role is critical in a manufacturing environment, balancing operational needs with people management to support production goals and safety standards.
THE NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Workforce Planning & Recruitment: Develop and implement HR plans; manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Employee Relations: Serve as primary point of contact for employee inquiries; resolve grievances, investigate issues, and foster a positive, inclusive culture.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local labor laws; maintain accurate employee records.
- Compensation & Benefits: Administer pay, benefits, and incentive programs; interpret and apply policies.
- Training & Development: Oversee training programs, safety compliance, and skill development for assembly and maintenance staff.
- Performance Management: Support performance reviews, coaching, and disciplinary processes.
- Health & Safety Programs: Collaborate on safety training and compliance initiatives for facility operations.
- Policy Development: Create, update, and communicate HR policies aligned with company and industry standards.
- Payroll & HRIS: Manage payroll administration (iSolve experience preferred) and HR information systems.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with operations, safety, and leadership to address staffing needs and workforce challenges.

EDUCATION/SPECIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Experience: 5 years in HR roles, with 3 years in HR management; manufacturing or industrial HR experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance, and HRIS systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to coach and mentor employees and manager
- Organizational and multitasking abilities
