What You Will Do
As an EHS Specialist, you’ll partner closely with facility leaders, managers, and employees to ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. With the support of the EHS Manager, you’ll:
- Develop and implement safety and environmental programs, policies, and procedures.
- Guide facilities on compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other regulations.
- Manage and track regulatory reporting requirements (OSHA logs, EPA reports, environmental permits).
- Conduct facility inspections, identify hazards, and drive corrective actions.
- Support investigations, root cause analyses, and preventative measures.
- Deliver engaging EHS training on critical topics (hazard communication, PPE, LOTO, emergency response).
- Partner with leaders to educate and influence best practices across all levels of the organization.
- Contribute to sustainability initiatives and risk-reduction projects.

What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field (preferred).
- 3 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—you can influence and collaborate across all levels.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS software systems.
- Experience working with regulatory agencies and workers’ compensation processes (a plus).
