Contract Therapist (IN Part time)
Department: Clinical
Direct Report to: Clinical Director
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Contract Therapist will serve as a direct clinical professional providing individual, group, and family therapy.
Contract Therapists will treat a selected caseload of female and male clients suffering from behavioral health and addiction related issues.
SCOPE:
Under the immediate supervision of the Clinical Director, the Contract Therapist will carry a caseload of up to 10 clients.
The Contract Therapist will be responsible for client’s weekly individual counseling sessions and associated documentation. In addition, the Contract Therapist may be asked to perform clinical admission assessments with associated documentation.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s Degree and Current Indiana Licensure (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, PSY.D, LPCC)
- At least 2 years prior experience in a behavioral healthcare setting
- Commitment to client, family, and referent satisfaction
- Ability to maintain strict client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Professional appearance, aptitude, and attitude
- Impeccable ethics, integrity, and customer relations skills
- Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills
- Computer literacy and ability to use an EMR
- Knowledge of “best practices” behavioral medicine treatment delivery and methodologies
- Knowledge of MAT services or MAT certification preferred
- Ability to complete assessments and/or individual therapy through tele-health environment
- Sound clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Ability to understand the requirements of the clientele
- Ability to travel to the client at the facility if needed
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Timely and complete medical record documentation
- Manage caseload of up to 10 clients weekly, including:
- Completes Biopsychosocial assessment (as needed), Master treatment plan (as needed)
- Completes Weekly 1:1 counseling session, in person or telehealth
- Completion of required documentation within 24horus of performing service: (1:1 session note, Treatment Plan
- update, ASAM criteria update, ASQ Risk Assessment, etc.)
- Participation in trainings/meetings as needed
- Participation in weekly team meetings
- Participation in utilization reviews as necessary
- Participation in in-service education for staff as requested
- Participation in Peer Review process as requested
- Adherence to facility policy and procedures, State & Federal law, and Joint Commission accreditation regulations

COMPENSATION:
- Service performed over tele-health: $50 per individual session (with treatment plan update), BPS Assessment (includes treatment plan development).
- Service performed on site (Linton, Albion, Corydon): $65 per individual session (with treatment plan update), BPS Assessment (includes treatment plan development).
- For any week in which you have clients assigned, attendance in a 1 hour weekly multidisciplinary treatment team meeting and a 1 hour clinical supervision meeting is required. For attending both of these required meetings: $50 per week
