Basic Function
The Vice President, Mortgage Lending, Champaign’s primary responsibility is to proactively solicit new residential mortgage business and sell Bank products to meet established production goals. Continually identifies, develops and maintains a quality network of business relationships that serves as a recurring source of referrals for new mortgage lending opportunities.
Essential Job Duties
The Vice President, Mortgage Lending, Champaign will function as a residential mortgage originator for the Champaign market and is encouraged to be involved within the community through specific organizations and special events.
Conduct all duties in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Bank policies and procedures.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
The Vice President, Mortgage Lending, Champaign must have a proven high volume production record coupled with a strong sales focus. The Vice President, Mortgage Lending, Champaign must be experienced in and have a comprehensive knowledge of both conventional and government lending programs, including FHA, VA, USDA and IHDA.
Qualified candidate must have a minimum of five years of banking experience, with an emphasis on mortgage lending. Candidate must also qualify for a valid NMLS certification. A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.

Salary Disclaimer
Base Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000
Compensation for this position is largely incentive based. Incentive compensation is in addition to base salary and based upon performance and other factors. Additional information on this role's compensation structure may be provided upon request.
The base salary range provided represents the anticipated starting base pay for this position. Individual compensation is based on various factors, including but not limited to, role requirements and responsibilities, related experience, education, qualifications, and internal equity.
