Provide healthcare the way it was meant to be.
At Hickory Medical, we believe healthcare should be personal, accessible, and relationship-driven. As a growing Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice in Bellefontaine, Ohio, we’re building a different kind of medical practice—one where providers have the time to know their patients, develop meaningful relationships, and focus on quality care rather than productivity metrics.
We’re looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who shares our passion for delivering exceptional patient care and wants to be part of a team that’s changing healthcare in our community.
This isn’t just another clinic job. It’s an opportunity to help build something meaningful.

- Provide comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Develop personalized treatment plans that emphasize prevention and long-term wellness.
- Perform physical examinations and routine office procedures.

- Educate patients and families to promote informed healthcare decisions.
- Collaborate closely with our nursing staff and fellow providers to deliver exceptional patient experiences.
- Contribute to the continued growth and development of the practice.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is someone who:
- Is passionate about relationship-based medicine.
- Takes ownership and thinks independently.
- Communicates with empathy, professionalism, and confidence.
- Enjoys collaborating with a close-knit clinical team.
- Values quality over quantity.
- Is adaptable and excited to help build a growing organization.
- Consistently demonstrates integrity, accountability, and professionalism.
- Wants to make a lasting impact on the health of our community.
Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Ohio.
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain).
- Current BLS certification.
- Primary care or family practice experience preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records.
