Nurse - Pana, IL

Hickory Estates of Pana is currently seeking a Facility Nurse. The perfect candidate will possess a current LPN license in the state of Illinois, be responsible for the planning, implementation and evaluation of all nursing care prescribed, and provided, to our residents within the community & understand the importance and value of communication regarding the resident’s care and wellbeing with staff, as well as with the resident’s family members.

Duties/Skills

• Ability to provide direct and individual nursing care to assigned residents.
• Graduated from an accredited program for LPN/LVN and is currently registered in the state of the community.
• Must obtain valid Continuing Education credits as required by the state.
• Experience in a long-term care, geriatrics, assisted living facility, or supportive living facility preferred.
• Able to communicate effectively with all levels of management, associates, residents, family members, and outside contacts.
• Able to make independent decisions.
• Able to seek out new methods and willing to incorporate them into existing practices when applicable.
• Must possess a passion to work with and around memory care residents.
