Position Summary
Fully trained upholsterer capable of independently completing standard upholstery tasks with consistent quality and efficiency.
Position Details
- Independently upholster standard furniture frames
- Read and interpret work orders, patterns, and specifications
- Select appropriate materials (fabric, foam, springs, etc.)
- Ensure consistent quality and adherence to company standards
- Identify and correct minor issues without supervision
- Maintain productivity expectations for assigned work
- Support training of Level 1 employees as needed
Performance Expectations
- Consistently meets quality and production standards
- Works independently with minimal errors
- Demonstrates reliability and accountability
Qualifications:
Position Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in upholstery techniques
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and quality (4-way match, spot, flow-match/direction of fabric)
- Solid understanding of materials and tools
