We are seeking a skilled and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our expanding team. This role is designed for a seasoned clinician who is ready to make a meaningful impact across a diverse patient population and a wide range of psychiatric conditions. As an Experienced PMHNP, you will operate while being supported by a collaborative team. You'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while maintaining an excellent work-life balance.
As an integral part of our behavioral health team, you will:
· Deliver care in SNF, and Hospital settings as applicable to assigned role
· Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR
· Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluationsa, ssessments, and diagnostic interviews
· Diagnose and treat a wide range of mental, emotional, and behavioral health disorders
· Develop individualized treatment plans in coordination with an interdisciplinary team
· Collaborate with facility staff on behavioral strategies and care planning
· Collaborate with therapists, care coordinators, and facility staff to ensure continuity of care
· Make treatment recommendations for psychotherapeutic interventions and medications
Requirements & Qualifications
· Licensure: Active, unencumbered Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in the State of Alabama
· Active PMHNP board certification (ANCC or AANP)
· Required Minimum 2 years of PMHNP clinical experience
· Active DEA registration
· Experience in hospital, SNF, ALF, or multi-site settings strongly preferred
· Strong commitment to patient-centered, culturally competent care
· Passion for patient-centered care in long-term or geriatric settings
· A commitment to delivering care with compassion, ethics, and integrity
· Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
· Strong clinical judgment, communication, and collaboration skills
