We are seeking a friendly and dependable Cashier / Deli Team Member to join our team. This position combines front-end cashier duties with deli food preparation.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with customers, stays organized in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in providing excellent service.
Available shift(s):
Saturdays- Fridays 2pm-9pm

Compensation
- Starting at $16 per hour (negotiable based on experience)

Responsibilities
Retail Cashier Duties:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Operate cash register and process transactions accurately
- Provide excellent customer service
- Stock merchandise as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized front-end area
Deli Team Member Duties:
- Prepare, slice, wrap, price, and merchandise deli products
- Make sandwiches, salads, and hot meals
- Take counter and phone orders and complete them promptly
- Prep ingredients and supplies for the next day
- Maintain clean, organized work areas
- Follow all health code, food safety, and labeling standards
Qualifications
- Reliable and punctual
- Friendly with strong communication and customer service skills
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
- Basic math and computer skills
- Able to lift 10–20 lbs regularly; up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working with cleaning agents
- Retail, cashier, deli, or food prep experience preferred (training provided)
- Must be 18 years old (VT requirement to sell alcohol & tobacco)
