In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, guiding them through their automotive service needs while ensuring a high level of satisfaction. Your expertise in automotive diagnostics and repair will help you effectively communicate with both customers and service technicians, facilitating seamless service delivery.
Duties
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive service needs.
- Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs to customers, including recommendations for maintenance and upselling additional services.
- Create and maintain accurate service orders, including auto estimating and service writing.
- Collaborate with service technicians to ensure proper diagnosis and repair of vehicles.
- Manage customer inquiries regarding vehicle maintenance, repairs, and warranty information.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized service area, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Stay updated on automotive technology trends and dealership practices to provide informed recommendations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an automotive dealership or service environment is preferred.
- Strong background in auto service management with mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics, repair processes, and vehicle maintenance practices.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Experience in upselling services and products related to automotive repair.
- Knowledge of specific areas such as transmissions, oil changes, auto body repair, air brakes, alignment, suspension, tire service, diesel engine repair, shocks & struts, brake repair is advantageous.
- Proficiency in cash handling and sales processes within an automotive context.

Pay: $59,740.17 - $71,945.15 per year
