Job Description
Department: Warehouse Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor
General Responsibilities (Warehouse Associate/Picker):
- RELIABILITY
- Pick customer orders using pickright unit and paper pick sheet .
- Package orders appropriately in box or tote, without damage or mistake.
- Use pre-determined locations to place product until the truck is ready to be loaded.
- Assist in loading the trucks, ensuring that they are loaded securely, accurately and in the appropriate order for the delivery.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work in hot and cold environments.
- Must be able to be on feet all day
- Must be able to work as part of a team
- Punctuality and reliability.
- Ability to read, write and comprehend written instructions and numbering.
- Ability to perform repetitive, manual material handing without restriction requiring (but not limited to) the following physical abilities: Crouching, Reaching, Standing, Walking, Pushing, Pulling and Grasping. Must demonstrate the strength and aerobic capacity required for the above mentioned work.
- Capable of lifting up to (25 ) pounds.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be (18 ) for full time employment.
Hours: Monday-Friday *half day Friday (40 )
