Duties
- Stock shelves and organize merchandise to maintain an attractive and accessible store layout
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for customer transactions, including cash handling and processing payments
- Assist customers with product inquiries, offering product demos and upselling when appropriate to enhance their shopping experience
- Maintain proper merchandising standards by arranging products neatly and replenishing stock as needed
- Ensure the store remains clean, safe, and welcoming by performing routine stocking and cleaning tasks
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and guiding them through their purchases
- Use strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure smooth store operations
Experience
- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred, especially in grocery or similar retail environments
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings and managing daily store activities
