Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing excellent customer service with a positive attitude.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties with integrity and attention to detail.
- Assist customers with product demos, upselling opportunities, and answering questions about merchandise.
- Maintain an organized checkout area by stocking supplies, merchandising products, and ensuring displays are attractive.
- Manage phone etiquette by answering inquiries professionally and directing calls appropriately.
- Support inventory management through stocking shelves, conducting product demos, and assisting in merchandising efforts.
- Engage in basic retail math to ensure accurate transactions and balanced cash drawers.
- Demonstrate supervising experience by guiding new team members or volunteers when needed.
- Promote a welcoming environment by providing exceptional customer service tailored to diverse guest needs.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred; familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with customers in bilingual settings is advantageous.
