What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Paraprofessionals position at Hiawatha Valley Education District?
- Hiawatha Valley Education District is seeking on-call Substitute Paraprofessionals for all of our programs
- Assisting teachers in their teaching duties and other general responsibilities
- Adapts classroom activities, assignments and/or materials under the direction of the supervising teacher
- Monitors special education students for the purpose of providing a safe and positive learning environment
- Must meet highly qualified criteria: Associates Degree or higher degree, or meets Minnesota Certified ParaPro Assessment
- Experience working with students/children preferred
- Office, lifting, sitting, standing, pushing, pulling, keyboarding, etc.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
