Position Overview
As a Retail Sales Associate, your primary focus is driving sales while delivering an exceptional customer experience. You’ll guide customers through their purchasing decisions, recommend products with confidence, and maximize every transaction through upselling and product pairing.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Customer Experience
- Engage every customer with confidence, energy, and professionalism
- Ask the right questions to identify needs and recommend high-value products
- Consistently upsell and cross-sell to increase average ticket size
- Build strong customer relationships that drive repeat business
- Promote loyalty programs and ongoing deals to maximize retention
Performance & Targets
- Meet and exceed daily and weekly sales goals
- Stay motivated in a competitive, target-driven environment
- Track personal performance and continuously look for ways to improve
- Maintain strong product knowledge to confidently close sales
Store Operations
- Verify IDs and maintain compliance with all state regulations
- Accurately process transactions using POS systems
- Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and visually appealing
- Assist with inventory tasks, restocking, and order fulfillment
- Support opening and closing procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 6 months of experience in sales, retail, or customer service
- Proven ability to engage customers and drive sales
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling
- Strong communication and persuasion skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings
- Basic math and computer proficiency
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong background in sales with a focus on hitting KPIs or quotas
- Experience in cannabis to know the basics
- Familiarity with upselling techniques and customer retention strategies
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Comfortable working in an environment with plant-based allergens
Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
