CNC CBN Grind Operator | 2^nd Shift
$20-$30 /hour starting, based on experience
*There is an additional generous shift differential on 2nd shift*
 
Hi-Tek Manufacturing is now hiring experienced Grind CBN Machine Operators who wish to further a career in advanced manufacturing technology by executing a higher level of workmanship. Essential Duties and Tasks:
• CBN (cubic boron nitrate) plated wheel grinding radial 
• Follow all Hi-Tek policies and procedures, including the use of proper PPE.
• Analyze and interpret Op sheets, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and travelers to produce products that meet or exceed customer specifications
• Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to customer specifications, using precision measuring tools and equipment as necessary.
• Maintain working knowledge of CNC principles, including G and M codes
• Maintain working knowledge of rotary/linear axes
• Selects, aligns, and secures fixtures, grinding wheels, and workpieces on machines as necessary to machine parts as required.
• Analyze, interpret CMM reports, and properly offset machine dimensions to meet customer specifications
• Perform Deburr operations to within specified tolerances
• Operate overhead crane when necessary 
• Report proper labor hours in the ERP system
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by performing daily housekeeping duties
• Capable of running multiple machines, when assigned 
• Demonstrates the ability to lift 25 pounds occasionally

Physical Conditions: 
• Lift, push and/or pull 35 pounds 
• Stand at least 95% of the scheduled shift
• Routinely perform reaching, twisting, bending, and grasping in order to move and set tools, equipment and material. 
• Perform under AS9100 standards 

Qualifications, Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or GED required
• Duty related experience or/or including milling or lathe experience required - Min 1 yr.
• Ability to perform basic math functions 
• Troubleshooting/problem-solving skills 
• Must be a United States Citizen, or a US Permanent Resident 

Shift: 
2^nd Shift: Mon-Fri, 3:30pm-12:00am **2nd shift offers a generous shift differential**
**Overtime may be required as needed

Compensation: $20-$30 /hourly, based on experience and candidate capability
