Job Description
Hi-Tech Mold & Tool is seeking a dependable, Mold Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining, cleaning, and inspecting injection molds to ensure they remain in proper working condition and ready for production.
- Maintain and clean all molds after production runs.
- Inspect molds and perform minor repairs as required.
- Report worn or damaged components to Lead Mold Technician
- Inspect incoming molds and attaches HT# and rack location.
- Use of micrometers and vernier calipers to measure and verify dimensions.
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and committed to continuous improvement in all job functions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 2-4 years experience in injection molding or mold maintenance.
- Knowledge, Skills and Ability:
- Fork truck training and license
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Other Special Requirements:
- Training on the use of crane operation.
- Some heavy lifting (up to approximately 70 lbs)
- Standing for long periods of time and repetitious motion is required.
- Environment: noise level is uncontrolled (ear plugs are provided).
- Flexible working hours required to coordinate with production scheduling requirements.
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
