Hi-Tech Mold & Tool is seeking a dependable and motivated Material Handler to join our 2nd shift team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely moving materials throughout our facility, ensuring production areas remain supplied, maintaining accurate inventory, and supporting efficient manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-conscious, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Job Summary
Maintains and distributes raw materials used in production during 2nd shift.
Essential Job Duties
- Maintains in-process materials at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
- Return all material to proper location, when not in use, with correct information on labels.
- Keep Motan fill stations clean and all materials covered.
- Keep presses clean of raw materials.
- Clean material hoppers, dryers, grinders and material lines.
- Monitor drying equipment to ensure it is working properly.
- Document and report any equipment in need of repair to the Maintenance Department.
- Identify, grind and label scrap material.
- Responsible for signing off on quality work instructions and requests for samples to ensure correct material is used.
- Communicate with previous and following shift material handlers with any issues regarding materials, jobs and equipment.
- Responsible for labeling dryers, grinder and regrind bins with correct forms and all information filled in.
- All labeling and forms must be readable.
- Be available to help with breaks as needed.
- Contributes to the team effort and is committed to continuous improvement in all job functions.
- House cleaning duties as needed.
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
