Electronic Assembler

Job Summary

Job will entail through-hole assembly of printed circuit boards. This work requires good hand/eye coordination. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, fast learner and is highly motivated. This is a temp to permanent position for someone to work Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with some occasional overtime. Must be able to pass a drug test, background check and able to work with a local staffing agency during your probationary period is complete. Candidates must also have strong attention to detail as they will be responsible following specific work instructions:

• Printed Circuit Board Assembly
• Light mechanical Assembly
• Other production activities required

Responsibilities and Duties

• Compare components in kit to parts list for assembly a determine completeness of a kit and identify errors in Bill of Material (BOM)
• Perform a wide variety of routine manufacturing functions
• Independently perform all phases of electronic and electronic-related assembly
• Run the Circuit boards through test systems to ensure quality of the builds
• Assemble, test and pack product
• Complete production activities efficiently and managing time and priorities well to meet deadlines
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

Qualifications and Required Skills

• High School graduate or GED
• Experience preferred but will train the right person
• Self-starter must be able to work independently and with limited supervision
• Ability to do repetitive operations
• Ability to work with small parts and materials
• Must be a team player
• Able to stand or sit for extended periods of time
• Posses good communication skills, both verbal and written
