- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA, JCAHO standards, and OSHA requirements to maintain a safe and legal practice environment.
- Manage medical records and electronic health record (EHR) systems to guarantee accuracy, confidentiality, and accessibility of patient information.
- Coordinate with insurance providers and managed care organizations to optimize billing processes and reimbursement procedures.
- Implement practice management strategies that enhance operational efficiency, patient satisfaction, and clinical quality outcomes.
- Oversee human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development initiatives.
- Monitor clinic inventory levels, equipment maintenance schedules, and supply procurement to support seamless clinical operations.
Skills
- Proven experience in dental office management or healthcare management roles with strong supervisory capabilities.
- Expertise in medical administrative support functions such as medical terminology, medical records management, and EMR/EHR systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
