Graphic Designer / Promotional Products Specialist

About Us
Hi Tech Ad Specialties helps businesses, schools, organizations, and individuals promote their brands through custom apparel, promotional products, print materials, signage, and marketing solutions. We are looking for a creative, organized, and customer-focused team member who can combine graphic design skills with project management and customer service.
This is not a traditional graphic design position. While design is an important part of the role, you will also work directly with customers, prepare quotes, source products, manage projects, and help ensure orders move smoothly from concept to completion.
Responsibilities
- Create and modify artwork for apparel, promotional products, business cards, banners, signs, and other branded materials
- Prepare print-ready artwork and production files using Adobe Illustrator
- Work with customer-supplied artwork and adapt designs to product templates and specifications
- Communicate with customers by phone, email, and in person regarding project details and artwork approvals
- Assist walk-in customers with product selection and project inquiries
- Research and source promotional products that meet customer goals and budgets
- Prepare quotes and product recommendations
- Enter orders and maintain accurate project information
- Coordinate projects with vendors, suppliers, and production staff
- Review artwork and order details to ensure accuracy before production
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire order process
QualificationsRequired
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage several projects at once
- Professional, positive, and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop and other Adobe Creative Suite applications
- Experience in graphic design, promotional products, apparel decoration, printing, embroidery, or related industries
- Experience working directly with customers
- Experience preparing quotes or managing projects
- Knowledge of branded merchandise and marketing products
