Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Prepare and serve smoothies, coffee beverages, and light food items following food safety and food handling standards.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for change.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and serving counters.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Follow all food safety protocols, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures, to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.
Experience
- Prior barista experience or food service background is highly preferred, especially with smoothie or café environments.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently during high-volume periods.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and sales transactions.
- Knowledge of food industry standards related to food safety, food preparation, and serving practices.
