RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pick up packages from a designated warehouse
- Scan, load, transport, and deliver packages
- Follow assigned delivery routes
- Maintain accurate delivery records
- Communicate delivery issues promptly
- Operate your personal vehicle to complete scheduled deliveries within designated local routes
- Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of goods while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor
- Navigate efficiently using GPS navigation systems, planning optimal routes to maximize productivity and safety
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, state transportation regulations, and safety protocols during every trip
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met
- Handle physical tasks such as loading or unloading cargo or assisting passengers with mobility needs
REQUIREMENTS
- 21 years of age
- Schedule: Monday–Saturday, daytime delivery routes
- Reliable SUV or cargo van
- Current vehicle registration and appropriate insurance
- Ability to pass required background screening
- Dependable and professional
- Previous delivery experience preferred but not required
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type operated (e.g., personal vehicle, passenger van) with a clean driving record
- Experience with GPS navigation tools and familiarity with local driving routes
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of traffic laws, transportation regulations, and safety standards applicable to passenger vehicles and commercial driving
- Excellent customer service skills with strong communication abilities
- Ability to manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules or passenger appointments
