What are the responsibilities and job description for the Movie Attendant position at Hi-Road Drive-In Theater?
Hi-Road Drive-In is now operating its 77th season! We are looking for unique individuals with great people skills! Weekends are required! Phone interviews begin Thursday, April 9th. Please note this is a seasonal position (April-November) with varying work hours. Shifts are typically 2-4 hours.
All applicants under the age of 18 are required to obtain a work permit.
Job Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
All team members may be considered for cross-training. General responsibilities for all positions include, but are not limited to:
- Exhibit excellent guest service skills.
- Present a calm demeanor that deters others from engaging in disruptive conduct, while encouraging a positive interaction with guests.
- Answer guest questions courteously and accurately or quickly direct them to the appropriate resource.
- Ability to effectively multitask as needed, including but not limited to greeting guests, directing guests and answering guest questions.
- Clean and maintain the exterior and interior areas of the drive-in including the parking lot, restrooms, concession area, and box office area.
- Perform nightly custodial duties as necessary, including but not limited to vacuuming, mopping, dishes, sanitizing restroom fixtures, etc.
- Frequently monitor the parking lot for picture and sound quality, ensuring headlights are off, and monitoring customer behavior.
- Perform daily stocking and maintenance duties.
- Follow all procedures to ensure a safe work environment, as well as the safety of our guests.
- Follow instructions on safe use of all chemicals/cleaning materials.
- Maintain regular personal attendance for all scheduled shifts.
- Assist with other Team functions and perform other duties as directed.
UNIFORM
- Provided by Drive-In: T-Shirt, Hat (Poncho & Reflective vest provided for Lot Attendants)
- Provided by Team Member: Work appropriate pants/shorts, closed-toed shoes.
Minimum Job Requirements
Requirements to be performed, with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Standing, walking, lifting, twisting, and bending on a frequent basis.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry it up to 90 feet (or deposit into dumpster).

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
