Description:•Lead, mentor and develop customer service representatives (2) responsible for the aerospace/defense account portfolio, ensuring they meet or exceed revenue, margin and customer satisfaction goals.•Partner with the Director of Business Development to define and execute strategic inside-sales initiatives specifically tailored to Hi-Rel’s aerospace/military electronics segments.•Serve as point-of-contact for aerospace/defense customers, managing quotes, proposals, order entry, follow-through and after-sales support.•Work closely with engineering, manufacturing and quality teams to ensure that customer requirements (e.g., AS9100/ITAR compliance, MIL-STD-883 testing) are clearly communicated and met.•Use CRM and sales-data analytics to monitor pipeline health, forecast sales, identify customer trends, and proactively respond to opportunities or risks.•Oversee quotation process for high-reliability metal components: ensure accuracy, competitive pricing, profitability, and alignment with Hi-Rel’s manufacturing capabilities.•Ensure inside sales team effectively supports customer programs, including responding to RFQs, managing backlog and coordinating with logistics to drive on-time delivery.•Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across sales, business development, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to ensure smooth execution of customer programs.•Contribute to continuous improvement of inside-sales processes and implement best-practice workflows for quoting, order management, CRM usage and customer interaction.•Stay abreast of aerospace & defense electronics industry trends and incorporate market insights into sales strategy.Requirements:•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent experience.•Minimum of 5-10 years of inside sales or sales-management experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably serving aerospace, defense or military electronics sectors.•Demonstrated track record of leading and developing a high-performing inside sales team and achieving sales targets in a high-reliability context.•Deep understanding of high-reliability electronics and metal-component manufacturing is a strong plus.•Familiarity with aerospace/defense quality standards and manufacturing certifications including AS9100, ISO?9001, ITAR, MIL-STD-883.•Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and experience using CRM systems and sales forecasting tools.•Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with aerospace/defense customers.•Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities and complex order flows.•Results-oriented, team-player, with a proactive mindset and process-improvement orientation.
Salary : $64,000 - $80,000
