What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier position at Hi-Quality Petroleum?
Hi-Quality Petroleum is currently hiring for a Part Time cashier position 8-12 hrs per week
-Will need to be at least 17 years old & have proper working papers If needed.
-Have a flexible availability AFTERNOONS, EVENINGS & WEEKENDS. Some holidays are required-compensated time & a half when scheduled.
-Must be dependable & prompt
-Interact in a friendly & polite manner with the public
-Strong cash handling skills & ability to process customer’s change without computer assistance (will train)
-Keep work area neat & organized
-Processing different types of transactions by using computerized register system.
-Able to communicate with customers through 2 way speaker system
-Responsible for balancing your cash drawer at the end of every shift
-Ability to work independently. Notifying manager on duty when necessary.
-Perform daily inside cleaning duties. As well as maintaining outside pump areas as needed.
-Able to stand on feet for long periods of time
-Follow all company procedures & adhere to all safety policies
