About the Opportunity

A well-established and growing commercial roofing contractor is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead and expand its service operations in the Marietta market. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated roofing professional who enjoys managing people, building client relationships, driving revenue growth, and overseeing all aspects of service operations.

The Service Manager will play a critical leadership role within the organization, overseeing field operations, estimating, project management, sales efforts, and team development while ensuring safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily service operations, including maintenance, repair, and emergency service work.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with building owners, property managers, contractors, and key clients.
• Generate and review estimates, proposals, maintenance reports, and project documentation.
• Oversee project execution to ensure quality workmanship, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage budgets, profitability, and key performance metrics for the service division.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and develop service personnel.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless project delivery and communication.
• Identify opportunities to grow service revenue through maintenance programs, repairs, and client partnerships.
• Monitor operational efficiency and implement process improvements where needed.
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in commercial roofing, roofing service, or a related construction industry.
• Proven experience managing service operations, estimating, project oversight, and client relationships.
• Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems, repairs, maintenance programs, and industry standards.
• Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to motivate, develop, and manage teams.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and operational performance metrics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related business software.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
