Commercial Roofing Service Manager
Location: Marietta, GA / Atlanta
Compensation: $100,000–$130,000 Base Salary Bonus Company Vehicle Full Benefits (DOE)
About the Opportunity
A leading national commercial roofing contractor is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Service Manager to lead an established service and repair division in the Atlanta market. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven roofing operations leader who enjoys managing people, driving profitability, delivering exceptional customer service, and growing a high-performing service department.
Commercial roofing industry experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the commercial roofing service department, including office staff, field technicians, and service sales.
- Manage scheduling, dispatching, and workflow to ensure timely, high-quality service delivery.
- Lead hiring, coaching, training, and performance management for service personnel.
- Review repair proposals, roof inspections, preventive maintenance reports, and customer deliverables for accuracy and quality.
- Monitor department profitability, budgets, KPIs, payroll, invoicing, and collections.
- Conduct regular jobsite visits to ensure safety, workmanship, and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate material purchasing, equipment maintenance, and fleet management.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities to grow service, maintenance, and repair business.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
Qualifications
- 3 years of commercial roofing service, operations, or project management experience.
- Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems including TPO, PVC, EPDM, Modified Bitumen, BUR, and metal roofing.
- Proven leadership experience managing field crews and office personnel.
- Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and departmental financial performance; P&L experience is a plus.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with roofing service software is a plus.
