About the Opportunity
An established commercial roofing and waterproofing contractor is seeking a motivated, results-driven Commercial Roofing Sales Representative to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a true relationship builder with a strong "hunter" mentality who enjoys developing new business, expanding existing accounts, and creating long-term client partnerships.
While commercial roofing experience is highly desirable, candidates from adjacent commercial construction industries—including HVAC, building envelope, waterproofing, flooring, MEP, fire protection, restoration, and facility services—are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, cold calling, and client visits.
- Build and maintain relationships with property owners, facility managers, property management firms, general contractors, and other commercial decision-makers.
- Perform roof inspections and identify repair, maintenance, and replacement opportunities.
- Prepare and present proposals, estimates, and service agreements tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with estimating, operations, and project management teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Expand existing customer relationships by identifying additional service opportunities.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurately document activity within the CRM.
- Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, products, and competitor activity.
- Consistently achieve or exceed sales and revenue goals.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial roofing sales, commercial construction sales, facility services, or a related industry.
- Existing relationships within the commercial real estate, property management, industrial, manufacturing, education, healthcare, logistics, or institutional markets are highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of commercial building systems and construction processes.
- Ability to develop new business while managing existing customer relationships.
- Experience utilizing CRM software to manage opportunities and sales activities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to safely access rooftops and perform site inspections.
Preferred Qualifications
- Commercial roofing industry experience.
- Experience selling large commercial reroofing and service projects.
- Knowledge of local building codes and construction practices.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
