What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Baseball Coach/instructor position at Hi-Five Sports Club?
Hi-Five Sports is dedicated to the development of children through sports. Our objective is not only to teach the fundamentals of a sport, but to teach children teamwork, sportsmanship and responsibility through athletics.
We are looking to add to our to our talent baseball coaching staff. We are looking for a candidate who can teach the fundamentals of the game in a group setting to children 5-8 years old. Our program runs on the weekends as well as two days during the week The children will range in experience from having played for 2-3 years to never playing at all. The ideal candidate(s) need to have a working knowledge of the game as well as the patience to teach young kids.
Salary is based upon experience
● Experience playing or coaching baseball minimum 2 years
● Must be creative, energetic and able to engage children 5-8 years old to play baseball
● Must be comfortable working with and communicating with both parents and league administration
.● Must be punctual and reliable
● Must be flexible to adjust programming based on the size of the group and the venue
