Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow and optimal patient comfort.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are ready for use.
- Perform medical imaging tasks, including taking X-rays and utilizing 3D scanning technology as needed.
- Implement four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records using a dental software system.
- Educate patients and their families on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols to ensure the safety of both patients and staff.
- Support the overall operations of the dental clinic by performing administrative tasks as required.
Skills
- Experience in a dental clinic setting, particularly in pediatric dentistry, is highly desirable.
