Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, coach, and support Patient Transport team members to ensure high performance and engagement
- Coordinate and prioritize patient transport requests to maintain efficient workflow and timely service
- Monitor staff productivity, performance, and adherence to departmental and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and hospital departments to ensure seamless patient flow and satisfaction
- Train, onboard, and mentor new team members; provide ongoing development and feedback
- Ensure all transport equipment is properly cleaned, disinfected, and maintained for patient safety
- Enforce compliance with HHS policies, hospital protocols, and regulatory requirements
- Assist in scheduling, staffing, and resolving operational challenges in real time
- Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, safety, and service excellence
- Step in to assist with patient transport duties as needed to support team operations
