What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mini Bar Attendant position at HHM Hotels?
Opportunity:Mini-Bar Attendant
Provide guests with a fully-stocked and well-maintained mini-bar on a consistent basis throughout their stay, while servicing them in a friendly manner consistent with brand and/or hotel and sustainability standards.
Essential Functions
- Inventory all guest mini-bars on a daily basis and post the appropriate charges to the room prior to guest departure.
- Clean the mini-bars on a regular basis.
- Inspect all equipment and ensure excellent working condition. If repairs are needed, inform the Engineering Staff.
- Maintain a fully stocked inventory of all mini-bar items.
- Stock the mini-bar cart with necessary items in order to complete rounds
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
- Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
- Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
- Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM's EarthView program.
- Practice safe work habits and use required safety equipment.
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
Position Requirements
- Requires organization and flexibility and a problem solving approach to all duties.
- Ability to be mobile for significant distances within building on the property.
- Must have the ability to communicate in English.
Work Environment and Context
- Work schedule varies and may includeworking on holidays and weekends.
- Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending and reaching;stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
- Ability to push/pull 60 lb motorized cart.
