Helpful Hands, Inc. is seeking a skilled Group Shift Leader to oversee EVS operations and ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and service. This role supports EVS Associates supports regulatory compliance, manages daily workflow, and contributes to a positive patient and staff experience.
Key Responsibilities
Provide ongoing support to associates through effective coaching, mentoring, and guidance.
Ensure full compliance with established cleaning, disinfection, safety, and infection prevention standards.
Conduct regular rounding to assess environmental conditions, document observations, and prepare reports for leadership review.
Manage bed-tracking processes and room turnover performance, contributing to operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist with staff scheduling to maintain seamless departmental operations.
Physical Demands
Prolonged standing and frequent walking, bending, stretching, kneeling, stooping, lifting, and reaching.
Ability to push/pull equipment and lift up to 60 lbs.
Manual dexterity, eye/hand coordination, and full range of motion required.
Vision and hearing must be correctable to normal range.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 2 years of EVS or acute care support experience; 1-year supervisory experience preferred.
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Proficiency with MS Office.
