Job Title: Ability One Shuttle Driver / Laundry Attendant / Custodian

Location: JBSA Lackland 

Job Type: Shuttle driver hours can vary due to shuttle schedules and the Ability One program, typical hours are M-F 7AM – 3PM, & 8AM – 4PM depending on the day of the week and the needs of the passengers. 

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Shuttle Driver / Laundry Attendant / Custodian to join our team.

Job Description: As a Shuttle Driver / Laundry Attendant / Custodian, you will be responsible for transporting Ability One employees safely and efficiently, as well as assisting with laundry duties. Your primary responsibilities will include Shuttle driver for Ability One employees and linen services and Custodial Duties as are required. Custodial Duties are to supplement the shuttle days that are lite as the Ability One passengers can be inconsistent. 

• Safely operating the company shuttle to transport employees from their residents and to the JBSAL office and to various locations on base.
• Maintaining a clean and orderly vehicle.
• Assisting with laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding and organizing linens.
• Ensuring all laundry is completed in a timely manner.
• Adhering to all safety and company policies and procedures.

Good attendance is a must!

Requirements: 

Valid drivers license with clean driving record

Previous driving experience preferably in a similar role.

Ability to operate a shuttle vehicle safely and responsibly.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to lift and carry heavy loads as required for laundry duties.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Custodial / Housekeeping responsibilities.
