Duties
- Provide clinical supervision to behavior technicians and staff, ensuring adherence to behavior analysis principles and ethical standards
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and intake procedures for new clients
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to track progress and modify treatment strategies as needed
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by maintaining accurate medical documentation and records
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and support systems
- Lead training sessions on behavioral therapy methods, medical terminology, and documentation practices for staff and families
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles
- Proven experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder
- Strong skills in data collection, patient assessment, and diagnostic evaluation processes
- Familiarity with medical records management, HIPAA compliance, and medical terminology
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations including patients, families, educators, and healthcare professionals
- Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising clinical teams while fostering a positive work environment
- Commitment to patient care excellence with attention to detail in medical documentation and records management
