Helping Hands Community Support Services (HHCSS) is looking to hire a Community Liaison. We are seeking a personable candidate that possesses great communication skills (verbal and written).
As a Community Liaison, you will play a vital role in establishing and maintaining positive connections between our organization and the community we serve. You will act as the primary point of contact between our organization and external partners including schools and other community resources.
Qualifications:
- Driver's License (Required)
- Bachelor's Degree in related field (Preferred)
- Must have excellent customer service experience combined with strong detail orientation and organizational skills
- Ability to work with a culturally diverse community of educators, learners, parents, and community
- Ability to use software to develop spreadsheets and databases
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work nontraditional hours including evenings and Saturdays
Responsibilities:
The Contractor will be required to perform the following services while under contract:
- Collaborate school outreach programs for parents and families of identified learners on topics that will help parents support their children academically, socially and emotionally
- Nurture and develop parent and community relations
- Develop and implement programs and activities to increase family, parent, and community engagement
- Identify, initiate, and maintain partnerships with community organizations, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, and other relevant partnerships to enhance mental health support services
- Represent the organization at community events, forums, and meetings to promote awareness of our initiatives and mental health services.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align community engagement efforts with organizational objectives
- Gather knowledge of the local community and its resources
- Use various communication and outreach tools, including social media platforms
Wage
Job Types: Full-time 1099 Contract
Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
