We are looking for a reliable, self-starting Maintenance Technician to act as my "right hand" and serve as the eyes and ears for our properties across the Pittsburgh area. This is a unique 1099 opportunity designed for someone who is well-organized, tech-savvy, and ready to take ownership of property health.
The Opportunity
This isn't your typical 9-to-5 desk job. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your own workflow while ensuring our portfolio stays in top shape.
What a typical day looks like:
Property Oversight: Conducting property walks and move-in inspections.
Technical Tasks: Unit turns, lock changes, and Schlage programming.
Compliance: Representing us during inspections with the City, insurance providers, and code enforcement.
Operations: Managing utility turn-ons and completing/reviewing digital work orders.
What We’re Looking For
The Basics: You must have reliable transportation and your own tools.
The "Plus": Experience with AppFolio is a major advantage.
Availability: You need to be readily available for local tasks and willing to travel to Columbus when the need arises.
The Mindset: I need someone proactive—if you see a problem, you solve it (or report it) before it becomes a crisis.
