Evaluate, dispense, and appropriately file outpatient and indigent prescriptions. Counsel employees and indigent patients on the appropriate use of medications. Maintain outpatient inventory. Supervise pharmacy technical staff.Qualifications
Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Experience required: Education: Requires a BS degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D from an accredited school of Pharmacy. Must be licensed to practice in Alabama. Experience: Prior practice experience preferred. Additional Skills/Abilities: Proficiency in mathematics. Ability to work in stressful environment. Ability to effectively communicate with people from diverse socio-economic backgrounds
